CEO/ President

As President/CEO, Mr. Theriault is the signing authority for Atlantic Human Services Inc.  Joffre is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, development and administration of all fiscal, contractual, administrative and operational aspects of Atlantic Human Services Inc.

 

Mr. Theriault is the primary liaison with government funding bodies for issues relating to financial controls of the company, as well as contracts and their obligations.  He acts as a resource person to the government, the corporation, and the community, to develop, market, promote, and coordinate services of Atlantic Human Services Inc.

 

He has an extensive background in criminology, political science, human motivational training and has acted in various capacities within the Human Services fields for many years as a consultant, trainer and senior manager.

Abdellatif Baoud

VP of Employment Solutions

Senior manager with over 17 years of experience, including management & leadership of private and not for profit organizations, HR management, operations management, strategy, business development, content design, facilitation/teaching, career coaching and employment counselling.

We bring an extensive experience in developing, implementing, delivering, managing and evaluating employment projects.

veronique hall

Program Manager, CRS

Since 2011, Véronique Hall has been working with clients from the Department of Social Development and the Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour as a Work Coach, Career Counsellor and Case Manager. She holds a Master of Arts in Career Counselling as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Honours in Psychology) from Université de Moncton. She is a Licensed Counselling Therapist with the College of Counselling Therapist of New Brunswick (CCTNB) and has become a Certified Résumé Strategist through the Career Professionals of Canada.

 

Véronique currently works for Atlantic Human Services as a Program Manager and Work Coach in the Transition to Work program. She started in 2015 as a Work Coach and quickly became the Program Manager for the Transition to Work program. She was also a key player of the Outplacement Team at Co-Op Atlantic as a résumé and cover letter writer. Véronique is known for her ability to motivate, encourage and coach her clients while providing them with tailored tools and resources. She is also skilled at developing excellent working relationships with her clients and coworkers by being understanding, patient, respectful and going the extra mile.

francine bourgeois

Program Manager, CRS

Francine began working with Atlantic Human Services Inc. in 2011 and has filled several roles during the past nine years, including the role of Employment Counsellor with the Maple Leaf Adjustment Committee from 2012-2014. She has been in her current role of Program Manager since March 2018, managing four Career Information Centres in Southeast New Brunswick and has also been providing vocational services to disability insurance recipients since November 2018. In total, Francine has 15 years of experience as an Employment Counsellor, Work Coach and Résumé Writer.

 

Francine has a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours in Psychology and master’s level studies in Career Counselling. She also became a Certified Resume Strategist in 2019 through Career Professionals of Canada (CPC). Her ability to build strong relationships with clients has helped her thrive in this industry. Throughout her years of experience, she has developed an expertise in résumé and cover letter writing and would be described by her co-workers as being a dedicated, empathetic and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills in both French and English.

Dick Daigle

Project Director

A CPA, with extensive experience owning and operating small businesses and providing fractional CFO services to small and medium enterprises in multiple industries. I have a strong understanding of the importance of strategic planning, cash flow management, proforma projections and risk management. This knowledge along with my background in accounting, project management, operations and experience leading organizations through change has allowed me to bring value to clients and business holdings. With a skillset that covers more than traditional accounting, the services provided to clients has evolved to cover the provision of general manager contracts, project management, complex RFP proposals and partnership negotiations.

Colleen Ermen

HR Advisor

Colleen Ermen is currently the Manager of Administration who provides support with program operations in all our projects.  Ms. Ermen has over 38 years of experience working in environments with offender populations working within a community residential facility as well as CORCAN Community Industries.  She is responsible to ensure accurate production schedules, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed for all aspects of shipping, receiving and ordering of raw materials.  She is also responsible for the supervision of offenders in consultation with the Shop Instructor at the Community Industries program.

 

She has 21 years of experience in the manufacturing/warehouse operation field.  She worked for over six years for the Straight Start Workshop where she was responsible for bookkeeping, pricing and ordering raw materials, as well as other aspects of the operation, as well as employed with CORCAN Community Industries since October 2004.

 

Ms. Ermen has the required training which allows her to input all necessary entries into IFMMS and OMS for the CORCAN Community Industries operation.

Krtista Leger

Program Facilitator

Since 2016, Krista has been increasingly involved in a number of roles within Atlantic Human Services Inc., including performing the duties of Acting Director of Cannell House CRF, supervising staff, policy development and implementation and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.  Krista also sits on the Management Committee of Atlantic Human Services Inc. and is also a member of the Senior Management Team.

Krista Leger possesses a strong professional background in one-on-one services, effective individual case management (interventions) and group facilitating (interventions). With a Bachelor of Arts, double major in sociology and anthropology and double minor in psychology and religious studies, she holds many tools and approaches to successfully challenge and monitor the participants’ progress aimed at changing human behavior.  Her work experience and training has given her a multitude of abilities in order to work with various clientele such as individuals who had (have) mental illness, been involved in the criminal justice system, been homeless, financial challenges, addiction challenges, community reintegration, Aboriginal offenders, women’s issues and family difficulties.
